Returns & Refunds Policy
Last Updated: 24 September 2026
At Pallet Liquidation UK, we want our customers to have a clear understanding of our returns and refund process before placing an order.
Because we specialise in liquidation pallets and wholesale stock, products may differ from standard retail merchandise in terms of condition, packaging, assortment and presentation.
Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.
1. About Our Liquidation Stock
Liquidation stock can include different types of merchandise depending on the particular pallet, including:
- New and excess stock
- Clearance stock
- Customer returns
- Open-box merchandise
- Shelf-pull stock
- Surplus inventory
- Mixed or assorted merchandise
The condition and characteristics of each pallet will be described on the relevant product listing where applicable.
Because liquidation pallets may contain assorted products, the exact combination of items can vary from one pallet to another.
Product photographs may be representative and may not show every individual item included in a pallet.
Before purchasing, customers should carefully review the product description, condition information, photographs, quantities and any other information provided.
2. Consumer Cancellation Rights
If you are purchasing as a consumer through our website, you may have a statutory right to cancel an online purchase within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
Where the cancellation right applies, you must notify us clearly within the applicable cancellation period that you wish to cancel your order.
After notifying us, you generally need to return the goods within the applicable statutory timeframe.
The cancellation right is subject to exceptions under applicable consumer legislation. We will not exclude a statutory cancellation right where the law requires that right to apply.
For further information about consumer cancellation rights, please contact us before returning goods.
3. How to Request a Return
To request a return, please contact us using the details below:
Email: info@palletliquidationuk.com
Please include:
- Your full name
- Order number
- Date of purchase
- Product or pallet purchased
- Reason for the return, where applicable
- Photographs or other supporting information where relevant
We will provide instructions on how to proceed with the return.
Please do not send goods back to us without contacting us first, as this may delay the processing of your return.
4. Condition of Returned Goods
Where a return is permitted, goods should be returned in the condition required by applicable law.
You should take reasonable care of products while they are in your possession.
Where applicable, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods.
This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, incorrectly supplied or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Where a consumer exercises a statutory cancellation right, the customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where permitted by law and where the customer was informed of this responsibility before purchase.
For palletised goods, return transportation may be significantly more expensive than ordinary parcel returns.
Where return transportation is the customer’s responsibility, we may require the customer to arrange suitable pallet transport or agree an appropriate return method with us.
Where goods are faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or otherwise require a remedy under applicable law, we will handle return costs in accordance with your statutory rights and the circumstances of the case.
6. Faulty or Damaged Goods
If you receive goods that are faulty, damaged, materially different from their description or incorrectly supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.
Please provide:
- Your order number
- A description of the problem
- Photographs of the affected goods
- Photographs of the packaging and pallet where relevant
- Any relevant delivery documentation
This information helps us investigate the issue and determine the appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Price reduction
- Refund
- Another appropriate remedy required by law
Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
7. Delivery Damage
If a pallet arrives visibly damaged, we recommend photographing the pallet and packaging before opening it where reasonably possible.
If individual products appear to have been damaged during transportation, please contact us promptly with photographs and your order information.
We will investigate the issue and work with the relevant delivery provider where appropriate.
Please note that reporting damage promptly helps us investigate delivery claims efficiently, but your statutory rights are not dependent on waiving those rights merely because you did not report damage immediately.
8. Refunds
Once a return or refund has been approved, we will process the refund using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
The timing of the refund may depend on:
- When the returned goods are received
- The reason for the return
- The payment method used
- The applicable legal requirements
- Any required inspection of the returned goods
Where a statutory consumer cancellation applies, refunds will be handled within the applicable legal timeframe.
For consumer cancellations, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you provide evidence that they have been returned, where permitted by law.
9. Business and Wholesale Customers
If you purchase pallets for your business, trade, resale or professional activities, you may be treated as a Business Customer rather than a consumer.
Business customers do not necessarily have the same statutory cancellation rights as consumers.
Because liquidation pallets are wholesale products and may contain assorted or mixed merchandise, Business Customers should carefully review:
- Product descriptions
- Pallet condition
- Product quantities
- Photographs
- Brand information
- Any exclusions
- Delivery arrangements
- Any specific terms relating to the particular pallet
Where a Business Customer has a problem with an order, they should contact us promptly so that we can assess the issue and determine whether a remedy is available under the applicable contract and law.
10. Change-of-Mind Returns for Business Customers
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, we do not guarantee a right for Business Customers to return liquidation pallets simply because they have changed their mind.
Before purchasing, Business Customers should ensure that the pallet is suitable for their intended resale or business requirements.
If you are uncertain about a pallet, its contents, condition or suitability, please contact us before placing your order.
11. Liquidation Pallets and Resale Expectations
We do not guarantee that any pallet will generate a specific:
- Resale value
- Revenue
- Profit
- Profit margin
- Return on investment
Any estimated retail value, resale value or potential profit shown or discussed in connection with a pallet is an estimate or indication only and should not be treated as a guarantee.
Actual resale results depend on factors including product condition, demand, selling platform, selling price, marketplace fees, shipping costs and the customer’s own business strategy.
A customer not achieving their expected resale price does not, by itself, constitute a defect in the goods.
12. Products With Specific Return Restrictions
Certain products may be subject to specific return restrictions where permitted by law.
These may include products that:
- Are personalised or made to a customer’s specifications
- Cannot reasonably be returned for hygiene or health-protection reasons once unsealed
- Have been altered or modified by the customer
- Are otherwise subject to a statutory exception
Where a particular product has a specific return condition, this will be communicated before purchase where required.
13. Exchanges
Where appropriate, we may offer an exchange instead of a refund.
Any exchange will be subject to product availability and applicable consumer rights.
If the replacement product is unavailable, we will discuss the available remedy with you.
14. Partial Refunds
In certain circumstances, we may agree to provide a partial refund rather than arranging a full return.
Any partial refund will depend on the circumstances of the case and will not affect rights that cannot legally be excluded.
For Business Customers, any agreed partial refund should be confirmed in writing.
15. Non-Returnable Situations
A return may not be accepted where:
- The customer is a Business Customer seeking a change-of-mind return and no return right was agreed.
- Goods have been materially altered or damaged by the customer.
- The customer has used or handled goods beyond what is reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics or functionality, where this affects the value of the goods.
- A specific statutory exception to cancellation applies.
- The requested remedy is otherwise not available under applicable law.
This section does not restrict statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
16. Returning a Large or Palletised Order
Pallet returns require appropriate transport and handling arrangements.
If we agree that a pallet must be returned, we will provide appropriate instructions regarding:
- Return address
- Collection or delivery arrangements
- Packaging
- Pallet requirements
- Transport arrangements
Customers should not attempt to return a pallet using an ordinary parcel delivery service unless we have specifically instructed them to do so.
17. Refunds for Cancelled Orders Before Dispatch
If an order is cancelled before dispatch and the cancellation is permitted under the applicable terms or law, we will process the appropriate refund.
If an order has already entered the delivery process, additional return arrangements may be required.
18. Promotional and Discounted Orders
Promotional products and discounted pallets remain subject to the same applicable statutory rights as other products.
A discount or promotion does not remove a customer’s legal rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.
19. Our Legal Obligations
Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Consumer rights may apply where products are faulty, not as described, unsuitable for their stated purpose or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.
Where applicable, these rights exist independently of any voluntary return policy offered by us.
